අද (01) සිට ක්‍රියාත්මක වන පරිදි මෙරට කොරෝනා වෛරස් ව්‍යාප්තිය පාලනය කිරීමේ කටයුතු සම්බන්ධීකරණ සඳහා ඉහළ හමුදා නිලධාරීන් 25 දෙනෙකු දිවයිනේ දිස්ත්‍රික්ක 25 වෙනුවෙන් පත් කර තිබේ.

ඊයේ දිනයේදී වැඩිම කොවිඩ් 19 ආසාදිතයන් පිරිසක් හඳුනාගෙන තිබෙන්නේ ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙනි. කොවිඩ් දෙවැනි රැල්ල ගම්පහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් ආරම්භ වූ අතර පසුගිය කාලසීමා‍වේදී එම දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන් දෛනිකව වාර්තා වන ආසාදිතයන් ප්‍රමාණය ක්‍රමයෙන් පහත බසිමින් තිබිණි.
