වතු කම්කරුවන්ට රුපියල් දහසක දෛනික අවම වැටුපක් ලබාදීම සඳහා වූ රජයේ අයවැය යෝජනාව පිළිබඳව ඊයේ (7) කම්කරු අමාත්‍යාංශයේ පැවැති සාකච්ඡාවක දී වතු සමාගම් පාලකයන්, හාම්පුතුන් සහ වතු වෘත්තීය සමිති නායකයන් අතර එකඟතාවයක් ඇති කර ගැනීමට නොහැකිවීම හේතුවෙන් ඒ පිළිබඳ විකල්ප යෝජනා තමන් සඳුදා අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලයට ඉදිරිපත් කරන බව කම්කරු අමාත්‍ය නිමල් සිරිපාල ද සිල්වා මහතා පවසයි.

ඊයේ(6) දින පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී අඳහස් දක්වමින් අධිකරණ අමාත්‍ය අලී සබ්රි ප්‍රකාශ කර සිටියේ මුස්ලිම් විවාහ නීතිය සංශෝධනය කිරීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙන බවයි.

මේ වසරේ 2021.01.01 අති විශේෂ ගැසට් පත්‍ර අංක 2208/35 ගැසට් පත්‍රය අනුව සුරා බදු බලපත්‍ර ගාස්තු සංශෝධනය කර තිබේ.

The number of Sri Lankans permitted to board each flight arriving in the country from overseas has been increased to 75 from 50, allowing at least 250 more Sri Lankans to return to the country daily, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.

ඉඩම් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීමේ ක්‍රියාවලිය ඩිජිටල් සේවාවක් බවට පත්කිරීම ආරම්භ කෙරේ. කොළඹ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයෙන්ප්‍රථම පියවර ආරම්භ කරන ලද මෙම ක්‍රියාවලිය මෙම වසර අවසන් වන විට දිවයින පුරා ඉඩම් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීමේ කාර්යාල 45 ක ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට නියමිතයි. ඒ සදහා වු ඉ-ඉඩම් ( e-land ) මෘදුකාංගය නිල වශයෙන් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීම පසුගිය (04) දා කොළඹ ඉඩම් ලියාපදිංචි කිරීමේ කාර්යාලයේදී සිදු කෙරිණි.
