The General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) has taken several initiatives of Research and Development to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and to mitigate its impact.

ලබන 27 වැනිදා වනවිට ඇඳිරි නීතිය ඉවත් කර,. රාජ්‍ය ආයතන සීමිත රාජ්‍ය සේවකයන් ප්‍රමාණයකට හෝ විවෘත කර නැවත ජනජීවිතය සමාන්‍ය මට්ටමට පත් කිරීමට රජය තවමත් සූදානම් වෙනවා. ඒ අනුව රාජ්‍ය පාරිපාලන හා ස්වදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය ජනක බණ්ඩාර තෙන්නකෝන් මහතා විසින් රාජ්‍ය ආයතන විවෘත කිරීම සඳහා උපදෙස් මාලාවක්ද නිකුත් කර තිබේ.

කවදා හෝ දිනයක මැතිවරණයක් පවත්වා අලුතින් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවක් පත්කරගෙන එයිනුත් මාස තුනක කාලයක් යනතුරු රජයේ මුදල් පාලනය කිරීමට ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතාට ව්‍යවස්ථාවෙන් බලය හිමිව ඇති බව කැබිනට් ප්‍රකාශක, ආචාර්ය බන්ධුල ගුණවර්ධන මහතා පවසයි.

දැනට නියම කර ඇති පරිදි ජුනි මස 20 වැනිදා මහ මැතිවරණය පවත්වන්නේ නම් ඒ වෙනුවෙන් තමන් වෙත පැවෙරන ව්‍යස්ථාපිත රාජකාරී ඉටු කිරීමට සූදානම් බව තැපැල් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව පවසනවා.
