මැතිවරණයට අදාළ සෞඛ්‍ය නිර්දේශ ඇතුළත් ගැසට් නිවේදනය අද (17 වැනිදා) ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කළද නිරෝධායන පනතින් මහජන සෞඛ්‍ය පරීක්ෂකවරුන්ට බලය පැවැරීම සිදු නොකිරීමට සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය තීරණය කර ඇත.

ස්වයං නිරෝධායනයට ලක්වන පිරිස වෙනුවෙන් අදාළ ප්‍රදේශයේ වෙනම ඡන්ද මධ්‍යස්ථානයක් පිහිටුවීමට හෝ ඡන්ද පෙට්ටිය රැගෙන නිවසින් නිවසට යෑමේ ක්‍රමවේදයක් අනුගමනය කිරීම පිළිබඳව මැතිවරණ කොමිෂන් සභාවේ අවධානය යොමුවී ඇත.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has decided to award contracts to construct expressways only to Sri Lankan contractors in a bid to strengthen the local construction industry, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa today said.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa invited the local engineers to take part in the revolutionary transformation of the construction sector, which will fulfil the needs of the urban and rural populations. “People in many parts of the country suffer due to the lack of water for drinking and irrigation purposes. Tanks and irrigation systems have nearly collapsed. Development of the road network in rural areas should be expedited.”
