The Police yesterday said three special teams comprising of 25 investigators have been tasked with probing the alleged links between four Police Narcotic Bureau officers and drug traffickers.

The National Election Commission has announced that the counting of ballot papers of the General Election 2020 will commence at 08.00 a.m. on 06 August.

The final result of the Parliamentary Election 2020 could be announced on August 6 around 8 pm unless any unforeseen incident occurs, Election Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said.
