ග්‍රෑන්ඩ්පාස් නාගලගංවීථිය ප්‍රදේශයෙන් කොවිඩ් ආසාදිතයෙකු හදුනා ගැනීමත් සමඟ එම ප්‍රදේශයේ පුද්ගලයන් 113 දෙනෙකු නිරෝධන කටයුතු සඳහා පූනානි සහ සාම්පූර් නිරෝධන මධ්‍යස්ථාන වෙත යොඋමු කර ඇත.

කොරෝනා වෛරසය ආසාදනය වී ඇත්දැයි පරීක්ෂා කිරීම සඳහා පුද්ගලයින්ගෙන් ජෛව සාම්පල ලබා ගැනීමට භාවිත කරන උපකරණ, මෙරටදීම නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීමට ශ‍්‍රී ලංකා වෛද්‍ය පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරුන් කටයුතු කර තිබෙනවා.
