අද පෙරවරුවේ රැස්වූ පක්ෂ නායක රැස්වීම එකගතාවයකින් තොරව අවසන් වී තිබේ.

ආණ්ඩුවට මෙන්ම බදියුදීන්ට එරෙහිව ගෙනා විශ්වාසභංග දෙකම පරාජය කරන බව එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයේ මහලේකම් අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍ය අකිල විරාජ් කාරියවසම් මහතා අද(22) පැවසීය.

නැගෙනහිර පළාත් ආණ්ඩුකාර එම්.එල්.ඒ.එම්. හිස්බුල්ලාට අයත් සමාගමක් විසින් මන්නාරම ඔලෙයිතොඩුවායි උපරි ප්‍රදේශයේ අක්කර 508ක ඉඩමක් මිලදී ගෙන තිබෙන බව දෙමළ ජාතික සන්ධාන මන්ත්‍රී චාල්සි නිමලනාදන් මහතා පවසයි.

ඩී.ඒ. රාජපක්ෂ අනුස්මරණ කෞතුකාගාරය ඉදිකිරීමේදී රාජ්‍ය මුදල් රුපියල් මිලියන 33.9 ක් සාවද්‍ය පරිහරණය කළැයි කියන සිද්ධිය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ඇතුළු හත්දෙනෙකුට එරෙහිව පවරා ඇති නඩුව ජූනි මස 19 වැනිදා සිට දිනපතා විභාගයට ගැනීමට ස්තීර ත්‍රිපුද්ගල මහාධිකරනය අද (23) නියෝග කළා.

ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂකයෙකු ලෙස තරග කරන්නැයි තමන් වෙත යෝජනාවක් ඉදිරිපත් වුවහොත් එම යෝජනාව භාරගන්නා බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත‍්‍රී කුමාර වෙල්ගම පවසනවා. ඔහු ඒ බව පැවසුවේ නෙත් නිවුස් සමග කළ විශේෂ සංවාදයකදීයි.

ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ විසින් රජයට එරෙහිව ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබන විශ්වාසභංග යෝජනාව අද (2019.05.21) දින පෙරවරු 10.00 ට ගරු කථානායකතුමන් වෙත භාරදෙනු ලැබීය.

Speaker Karu Jayasuriya yesterday informed Parliament that leaders of the political parties which represent the House will meet today to decide on the date when the no-confidence motion submitted by the joint opposition against Minister of Industry and Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Cooperatives Development and Skills Development Rishad Bathiudeen.

Industry and Commerce Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, who is facing a no-confidence motion is reported to have told the Cabinet today that he would step down from his post if President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe asked him to do so.
