ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පොදුජන සන්ධානයෙන් මහ මැතිවරණයට තරග කරන අපේක්ෂකයන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් අවසන් තීරණය සන්ධානයට සම්බන්ධ පක්ෂ නායකයන් පත්කරන නාම යෝජනා මණ්ඩලය විසින් තීරණය කරන බව එම සන්ධානයේ ලේකම් බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ පැවසීය.

එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂ නායක රනිල් වික‍්‍රමසිංහ මහතා ඉදිරි මහ මැතිවරණයේදී කොළඹ දිස්ත‍්‍රික්කයෙන්ද, කථානායක කරු ජයසූරිය මහතා ගම්පහ දිස්ත‍්‍රික්කයෙන්ද තරග කිරීමට සූදානම් බව පක්ෂයේ අභ්‍යන්තර ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කළේය.
