Main Opposition Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP S.M. Marikkar yesterday called on the Government to resign if it cannot successfully manage crises rather than putting the masses in more misery.

Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa today said he will continue to refuse CIOVID-19 vaccine despite he and his wife falling victims to the pandemic, until the entire Sri Lankan population has been vaccinated.

එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයට හිමි ජාතික ලැයිස්තු මන්ත්‍රී ධුරය සඳහා එම පක්ෂයේ නායක රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ පත් කිරීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙනවා. ඒ අනුව හිටපු අගමැතිවරයා ලබන ජුනි 22 වෙනිදාපාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙකු ලෙස දිවුරුම් දීමට නියමිතව ඇත.

බලශක්ති අමාත්‍ය උදය ගම්මන්පිල මහතාට ඇමති ධුරයෙන් ඉල්ලා අස්වීම සඳහා එල්ල වී ඇති බලපෑම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාකච්ඡා කිරීම සඳහා ආණ්ඩුව නියෝජනය කරන කුඩා පක්ෂ එකතුව යළිත් රැස් වී ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ. අමාත්‍ය විමල් වීරවංශ මහතාගේ නිළ නිවසේදී මෙම රැස්වීම පවත්වා තිබෙනවා.
