- Debt Relief Milestone Secures Over USD 17 Billion in Support Amid Ongoing IMF Program.
On the 19th of September 2024, Sri Lanka announced that it has reached Agreements in Principle on the restructuring of approximately USD$ 17.5 billion of external commercial debt (as of end 2023).

- 2025 ජනවාරි 01වනදා සිට රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ වැටුප් හා දීමනා ඉහළ නැංවීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය මූල්‍ය ප්‍රතිපාදන ලබාදීමට මහා භාණ්ඩාගාරයේ එකඟතාව සහ අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩල අනුමැතිය ලැබී තිබෙනවා.

- මූලික වැටුප් 24% සිට 50%-60% දක්වා වූ පරාසයකින් වැඩි වෙනවා.

මෙරට රත්තරන් වෙළඳපොල තුළ සටහන් වන රන් මිලට අනුව අද (28) දිනයේ කැරට් 22 රන් පවුම රු.196,200.00 වන අතර කැරට් 24 රන් පවුම රු. 213,900.00ක් ලෙස සටහන්ව තිබේ.
