නව උපාධි පාඨමාලා 8ක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට පෞද්ගලික අධ්‍යාපන ආයතන 2කට අවසර ලබාදෙමින් උසස් අධ්‍යාපන, තාක්ෂණ සහ නවෝත්පාදන අමාත්‍ය බන්දුල ගුණවර්ධන මහතා විසින් අති විශේෂ ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබේ.
සුළු හා මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ ව්‍යාපාරිකයන් වෙනුවෙන් සහන පැකේජයක් ලබා දීමට රජය තීරණය කර ඇතැයි සංවර්ධන බැංකු සහ ණය යෝජනා ක්‍රම පිළිබඳ රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ෂෙහාන් සේමසිංහ මහතා පවසයි. ¬මෙම පැකේජය යටතේ දැනට බැංකු මගින් ලබා ගත් ණය මුදල් සක්‍රීය ලෙස ගෙවමින් පවතින ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්ට සේම අක්‍රීය මට්ටමේ සිටින ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්ට ද සහන හිමි වන බව අමාත්‍යවරයා සඳහන් කරයි. අමාත්‍යවරයා පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ 6.5%ක ආර්ථික වර්ධනයක් අත් කර ගැනීමේ රජයේ ඉලක්කය වෙනුවෙන් ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්ගේ සක්‍රීය දායකත්වය ලබා ගැනීමට මෙමගින් හැකි වනු ඇති බවයි. මේ යටතේ දැනට ණය තොරතුරු කාර්යාංශයේ අසාදු ලේඛන ගතව සිටින සුළු හා මාධ්‍ය පරිමාණ ව්‍යාපාරිකයන්ට ද යළිත් ණය ලබා ගැනීමේ හැකියාව ලැබෙන බව ද අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවැසීය.

The Railway Services State Minister C. B. Ratnayake yesterday said that the ministry had decided to suspend importing of railway compartments in the future.
