Health Minister Pavithradevi Wanniarachchi today expressed her utmost disappointment and anger when the Police and Health authorities detected a 67-year-old COVID 19 infected individual who had dodged quarantine for more than a week and suspected of having infected over 50 other Sri Lankans in the last few days.

කොරෝනා වෛරසය රට තුළ ව්‍යාප්තිය වැළැක්වීමට රජය ගෙන යන වැඩපිළිවෙළ ශක්තිමත් කිරීමට මාර්තු 30 වනදා සිට අප්‍රේල් 03වනදා දක්වා නිවසේ සිට වැඩකරන කාලයක් ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කොට ඇත.

The government has introduced a mechanism to deliver drugs to the doorstep of houses through pharmacies in the area in order to reduce spread of COVID 19, Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා මහ බැංකුව, වාණිජ බැංකු, රක්ෂණ සේවා සහ මහ භාණ්ඩාගාරය ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා විසින් අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය සේවා ගණයට ඇතුළත් කර තිබෙනවා.

රාජ්‍ය සේවකයින්ගේ අපේ‍්‍රල් මස වැටුප අපේ‍්‍රල් 8 වැනිදා ලබාදීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙනවා. මීට පෙර තීරණය කර තිබුණේ රාජ්‍ය සේවක වැටුප අපේ‍්‍රල් 10 වැනිදා ලබාදීමටයි. රාජ්‍ය සේවකයින් ලක්‍ෂ 14 ක් වෙනුවෙන් වැටුප් ගෙවීම සඳහා රුපියල් බිලියන 78 ක් වෙන් කෙරෙනවා.
