ජනාධිපති ධුරයට පත් වී ගත වූ දින 100 පිළිබඳ තමන්ගේ මට්ටමින් සතුටු නොවන බව ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ පවසයි.

රට සංවර්ධනය කිරීමේදී සිදුකළ යුතු වැඩ කිරීමට තමන්ට එක් ධුර කාලයක් වුවද ප්‍රමාණවත් බවත්, වත්මන් ව්‍යවස්ථාවෙන් වැඩ කිරීමට බාධා ඇතිව තිබෙන බවත් ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජක්ෂ මහතා පැවැසීය.

දුම්රිය රියදුරන් විසින් දුම්රියේ මත්ද්‍රව්‍ය ප්‍රවාහනය කරන බවටත් ආණ්ඩුව එය වැළැක්වීම සඳහා දුම්රිය ආරක්ෂක නිලධාරීන් දුම්රිය තුළට යෙදවීම නිසා ඊට විරෝධය පාමින් දුම්රිය රියදුරන් දුම්රිය ප්‍රමාද කරමින් ධාවනය කරන බවටත් අමාත්‍ය විමල් වීරවංශ මහතා චෝදනා කරයි.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday appointed a committee to streamline the regulatory processes of the quarry industry. The committee is expected to submit an initial report in within two weeks, said the Prime Minister’s media unit in press release.

පසුගිය යහපාලන ආණ්ඩුවේ ඇමතිවරුන් පිරිසක් තවමත් ඔවුන් භාවිතා කළ නිළ නිවාස ආපසු බාරදීමට කටයුතු කර නොමැති බව වාර්තා වේ. එසේ නිළ නිවාස බාර නොදුන් හිටපු ඇමතිවරුන්ට එරෙහිව නීතිමය පියවර ගැනීමට රාජ්‍ය පරිපාලන හා ස්වදේශ කටයුතු අමාත්‍යංශය තීරණය කර තිබේ.

The Attorney General has directed the Acting IGP to obtain arrest warrants against several suspects in the Central Bank bond scam case including former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake, former CBSL Governor Arjuna Mahendran and PTL owner Arjun Aloysius.
