කොවිඩ්-19 වයිරසය පැතිරීම ආරම්භ වූ මාර්තු සිට මේ දක්වා පී.සී.ආර්. පරීක්ෂණ එක්ලක්ෂ පනස් දහසක් සිදුකර ඇති අතර, ඉන් රෝගීන් හමුවී‍මේ ප්‍රතිශතය සියයට එකයි දශම අටක් දක්වා අඩුවී ඇති බව සෞඛ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශය පවසයි.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has announced that the pre-school system will be placed under a Ministry in the future.

අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර සාමාන්‍ය පෙළ විභාගයට මෙවර පෙනී සිටින පාසල් හා පෞද්ගලික අයදුම්කරුවන් සදහා වන අයදුම්පත්‍ර ජූලි මස 22 වැනි දින සිට අගෝස්තු මස 31 වැනි දින දක්වා කැදවනු ලබයි.

මහ බැංකුවේ විෂය පථයට අයත් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විශාලතම අධිපති අරමුදල වන සේවක අර්ථසාධක අරමුදල (EPF) 2020 පළමු කාර්තුව අවසන් වන විට දළ වශයෙන් රුපියල් බිලියන 39.08 ක සැලකිය යුතු අලාභයක් වාර්තා කර ඇති බව මහ බැංකු දත්ත පෙන්වා දෙයි.

මැතිවරණය අවසන් වූ වහාම රැකියා ලක්ෂය ලබා දීමේ වැඩසටහන ආරම්භ කරන බව අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා පවසයි.

Government schools for students in Grades 11, 12 and 13 will reopen tomorrow, July 27 after the prolonged vacation due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country from March, this year. The school hours will be from 7.30 am to 3.30 pm, the sources said.

Cabinet yesterday approved a proposal by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to appoint a committee to evaluate the functions of all State banks and their affiliated bodies, and recommend legal and administrative measures to ensure that they carry out Government decisions.
