Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed a three-member committee chaired by Foreign Affairs Minister Tilak Marapana to probe State Minister Ranjan Ramanayake’s controversial statements he had made on Buddhist monks on social media recently, Prime Minister’s office announced.

අධ්‍යාපන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර "උසස් පෙළ -2019' විභාගය අගෝස්තු මස 05 වැනි දින සිට 2019 අගෝස්තු මස 31 වැනි දින තෙක් පැවැත් වෙන බව විභාග දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව නිවේදනය කරනවා.

පාස්කු ප්‍රහාරය සම්බන්ධයෙන් සොයා බැලීම සඳහා පත්කළ පාර්ලිමේන්තු විශේෂ තේරීම් කාරක සභාව ජනාධිපතිවරයාගෙන් සහ කොළඹ අග රදගුරුවරයාගෙන් සාක්ෂි විමසීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙනවා. කෙසේ වෙතත් පසුගියදා ජනාධිපතිවරයා ප්‍රකාශ කළේ තමන් කිසිසේත් තේරීම් කාරක සභාව හමුවට නොයන බවයි.
