The United National Party (UNP) claimed today that presidential candidate M. L. A. M. Hisbullah is tacitly backing Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

ඉදිරි ජනාධිපතිවරණයේදී සහාය පළ කරන්නේ කුමන පාර්ශ්වයටද යන්න පිළිබඳ අවසන් තීරණයකට එළඹීම ඇල්පිටිය ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා මැතිවරණයෙන් පසුව සිදු කිරීමට ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂය තීරණය කර ඇති බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී තිලංග සුමතිපාල මහතා පවසයි.
