කිසිදු හේතුවක් මත මහ මැතිවරණය කල්දැමිය යුතු නැති බව ශ්රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ පවසනවා. පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ කුරුණෑගල දිස්ත්රික් අපේක්ෂක ජොන්ස්ටන් ප්රනාන්දු මහතා පවසන්නේ කොවිඩ් වෛරසය පිට දමා මැතිවරණය කල්දමා ගැනීමට විපක්ෂයට අවශ්ය වී ඇති බවයි.
මැතිවරණ ප්රචාරණ කටයුතුවල නිරත වීමේදී නිසි සෞඛ්ය උපදෙස් පිළිපදින ලෙස අග්රාමාත්ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ශ්රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ සියලුම අපේක්ෂකයන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලිමක් කර තිබේ.
