යුක්රේනයේ පිහිටි මහල් නිවාස සංකීර්ණයක් ඉලක්ක කර රුසියාව ගුවන් ප්රහාරයක් එල්ල කර තිබෙනවා. විදෙස් වාර්තා පැවසුවේ ඔඩෙසා නගරයේ පිහිටි මහල් නිවාස සංකීර්ණයකට රුසියාව එලෙස මිසයිල ප්රහාරයක් එල්ල කර ඇති බවයි. ප්රහාරයෙන් මහල් නිවාස සංකීර්ණයේ සිටි පුද්ගලයින් 08 දෙනෙකු මියගොස් ඇතැයි යුක්රේන බලධාරීන් තහවුරු කළා.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Saturday said it will support Sri Lanka’s efforts to overcome the current economic crisis.
China on Thursday gave the go ahead to a batch of Sri Lankan students, studying in Chinese universities but currently stranded in their home country because of Covid-related restrictions imposed by Beijing, to return to their campuses to resume in-person learning.

මාස කිහිපයක් පුරා අඛණ්ඩව පවතින රුසියාවේ යුක්රේන ආක්රමණය හේතුවෙන් ලෝක ආර්ථිකයට සිදුව ඇති බලපෑම තවමත් අවසන්වී නැහැ. මේ හේතුවෙන් යුරෝපයට පවා භාණ්ඩ හිඟයකට මුහුණදීමටයි සිදුව ඇත්තේ.
Pope Francis is to conduct a special prayer service on behalf of the Easter Sunday bomb blast victims in Vatican tomorrow (Monday April 25) together with the Sri Lankan bishops and a group of persons who were wounded in the attack, Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith who is in Vatican, said today.
