ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය - අමෙරිකානු එක්සත් ජනපදය සමඟ අත්සන් කිරීමට නියමිත යැයි පැවසෙන මිලේනියම් චැලෙන්ජ් කෝපරේෂන් ව්‍යාපෘතිය, SOFA ගිවිසුම හෝ වෙනත් ගිවිසුමක් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඉදිරියට කටයුතු කිරීම වැළැක්වීමට අතුරු තහනම් නියෝගයක් නිකුත් කරන ලෙසට ඉල්ලා ගොනු කළ මූලික අයිතිවාසිකම් පෙත්සම නොවැම්බර් මස 13 වැනිදා සලකා බැලීමට ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨාධිකරණය අද (06) දින ලබා දුන්නා.

කතාබහට ලක්ව ඇති මිලේනියම් චැලෙන්ජ් කෝපරේෂන් ගිවිසුම පිළිබඳ අද (05) පැවැත්වෙන කැබිනට් රැස්වීමේදි යළි සාකච්ඡාවට ලක් කෙරෙනු ඇතැයි දේශපාලන ආරංචි පවසනවා. එම ගිවිසුම සඳහා ඉකුත් සතියේ පැවති කැබිනට් රැස්වීමේදී අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලයේ අනුමැතියද හිමි වුණා. කෙසේවෙතත් පාර්ශ්ව රැසකින් එල්ල වු විරෝධතා හමුවේ ජනාධිපතිවරයා මුදල් අමාත්‍ය මංගල සමරවීරට දැනුම් දී තිබුණේ ජනාධිපතිවරණයට පෙර අදාළ ගිවිසුම අත්සන් නොකරන ලෙසයි.
