රජය ලබාදෙන සහන පිළිබඳව සමාජ මාධ්‍ය ජාලාවන්හි අසත්‍ය ප්‍රචාර නොකරන ‌ලෙස අගමැති මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විශේෂ ඉල්ලීමක් කළේය.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has requested international donor agencies to provide a debt moratorium or debt deferment facility to all vulnerable developing nations to the COVID-19 risk.

Curfew in the Colombo Gampaha and Kalutara districts will continue until further notice as these have been identified as high risk zone for COVID-19, the Presidential Media Division said.

No new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Sri Lanka within the day as at 4.30 p.m., Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi said. A remaining 99 patients are in hospitals after they were tested positive for the virus as three patients, including the Chinese national--the very first case in Sri Lanka--were discharged. According to the data of the Epidemiology Unit at the Health Ministry, 225 persons are currently in hospitals with the symptoms of COVID-19 virus.

Sri Lanka Customs has made arrangement to provide services to the importers, exporters and other agencies under the prevailing situation of the country due to Covid -19 pandemic.

The lifting of the currently enforced curfew and the re-enforcement will be carried out as follows;

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa with the powers vested in him directed a number of relief measures to people undergoing various hardships due to the prevailing situation brought on by the Coronavirus. All these concessions will come into effect with immediate effect.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has directed legal experts and the Department of Prisons to look into ways of granting some relief to the prisoners who were charged with minor offences and those who are unable to meet their bail conditions.

නිවෙස් වෙතටම අත්‍යාවශ්‍ය පාරිභෝගික භාණ්ඩ සැපයීම සඳහා රජය ගෙන යන වැඩපිළිවෙල සම්බන්ධයෙන් සාවද්‍ය තොරතුරු සමාජ මාධ්‍ය හරහා පතුරුවන පුද්ගලයින්ට එරෙහිව නිතිමය පියවර ගන්නා බවට අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය කාර්යාලය විසින් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබේ.

The Government has permitted transportation and unloading of fish during curfew hours.

අද (24) පෙරවරු 6.00න් ඇඳිරි නීතිය ඉවත් කළ ප්‍රදේශවලට යළි ඇඳිරි නීතිය ක්‍රියාත්මක වන වේලාව පස්වරු 2.00 දක්වා දිර්ඝ කර තිබේ.
