The Cabinet today approved a proposal by Prime Minister and Finance Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to amend the Inland Revenue Act.

The UNP has adopted ‘fork-tongued stance’ on the Millennium Challenge Corporation agreement proposed by the USA, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa charged yesterday. The Prime Minister points out in a media statement that while it was in government, the UNP had been ready to rush through approval of the MCC pact but now the very same party was opposing it.
