පිළියන්දල හා කහතුඩුව ප්‍රදේශයේ පී.සී.ආර් පරීක්ෂණ සිදුකල 65දෙනාට කොවිඩ් 19 වැළදී නොමැති බව පිළියන්දල සෞඛ්‍ය වෛද්‍ය නිලධාරී වෛද්‍ය ඉන්දික එල්ලාවල මහතා පවසයි.

Two hundred and fifty nine persons were released from quarantine yesterday after they tested negative for COVID-19 and completed the mandated quarantine program, as 15 persons tested positive for the virus. According to the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry, the total number of confirmed cases has risen to 2,745 with 656 infected patients under medical care. No COVID-19 infected patients were reported on Tuesday with 1,100 PCR tests conducted. There were no reports of infected patients recovering and being discharged yesterday keeping the total number to recover at 2,064. A total of 141,515 PCR tests have been conducted in Sri Lanka from the start of the pandemic to 21 July with medical professionals and Opposition politicians calling on the Government early on to expand national testing capacity.

Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) has taken measures to pay maximum compensation of Rs. 600,000 per depositor of ETI Finance Limited (ETIFL) and Swarnamahal Financial Services PLC (SFSP) from July 25.

රාජ්‍ය සේවයේ නිරතව සිට විශ‍්‍රාම ගිය හය ලක්ෂයක් පමණ වන සියලූම විශ‍්‍රාමිකයින්ට අග‍්‍රහාර රක්ෂණ ප‍්‍රතිලාභ ප‍්‍රදානය කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් අග‍්‍රාමාත්‍ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විසින් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලද යෝජනාවට ඊයේ (22) පැවති අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩල රැස්වීමේදී අනුමැතිය හිමිව තිබෙනවා.

යාපනය නල්ලූර් කෝවිලේ වාර්ෂික මංගල්‍යය සඳහා සෞඛ්‍ය නිර්දේශයන්ට අනුකූලව දිනකදී බැතිමතුන් 300 දෙනෙකු පමණක් සහභාගී කරවා ගන්නා ලෙස යාපනය සෞඛ්‍ය බලධාරීන් විසින් එම කෝවිලේ පාලක සභාවට දැනුම් දී තිබෙනවා.

දරුණු ගණයේ අපරාධ කරුවන් හා ජාවාරම්කරුවන් රැගෙන යන බන්ධනාගාර බස් රථවලට අපරාධ කල්ලිවලින් ප්‍රහාරයක් එල්ල වීමේ අවධානමක් ඇතැයි බුද්ධි අංශ අනතුරු හඟවා ඇත. බන්ධනාගාර ගතව සිටින අපරාධකරුවන්ගේ කල්ලිවල බලය පෙන්වීමට මෙවැනි ප්‍රහාරයක් එල්ල කිරීමේ උත්සාහයක් ඇතැයි බුද්ධි අංශ පවසා තිබේ.
