Chairman of Avant Garde Maritime Services have refuted claims citing that they sought US$ 02 million from the government to repatriate Sri Lankans in the Middle East through a ship.
In a phone call, chairman Nissanka Sendhipathi clarified that his company had not demanded money from the government as such.
He noted that a certain group was attempting to sabotage this humanitarian process with no rational basis and details published recently on a newspaper and several websites were blatantly false.
