Ceylon Workers Congress (CWC) member Jeewan Thondaman, son of late Arumugam Thondaman, signed nomination papers yesterday to contest the Parliamentary election.

The United National Party (UNP) yesterday obtained an interim order from the District Court of Colombo preventing two of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) members from accessing funds of a plantation union.
