Several members of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) have received letters sent by the United National Party (UNP) challenging their members to show cause as to why they sent in nominations for the upcoming General Elections from another party.

The Attorney General has directed the Acting IGP to record statements from former President Maithripala Sirisena and former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe over Bond Scam, AG’s Co-ordinating Secretary said.
