Submitting a report regarding the health condition of former Megapolis and Western Province Development Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, the Colombo Chief Judicial Medical Officer has opined that former Minister does not have a life threatening disease and he is fit to attend courts.

2018 වසරේ කුමන්ත්‍රණ ආණ්ඩු අවස්ථාවේදී පාර්ලිමේන්තුව තුළ සිදු වූ පහරදීම්, නොසන්සුන් තත්වයන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් නිවැරදි විමර්ශනයක් සිදු කිරීමට අවස්ථාව නොලැබුණු බව හිටපු කතානායක කරු ජයසූරිය මහතා පවසනවා. එම විමර්ශන නතර කිරීමට සිදුවූයේ වත්මන් අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මහතාගේ සහ එජාප නායක රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාගේ බලපෑම් මත බවද ජයසූරිය මහතා පෙන්වා දෙනවා.

UNP MP Ranil Wickre-mesinghe said yesterday that the Finance Minister should inform the House by February if he plans to reach out to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) or place before the House an alternative plan to address the prevailing economic crisis in the country.
