Ministry of Health will not allow any public gathering during the Sinhala and Hindu New Year season and urged the public to follow existing health guidelines, State Minister of Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID-19 Disease Control Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle said.

There is no approval yet to use the Sinopharm vaccine on Sri Lankans, the Government said today.
