Sri Lanka's Attorney General has submitted a price formula for liquefied petroleum gas to court for approval to end ministerial discretion and bring back evidence based decision making, Economic Reforms and Public Distribution Minister Harsha de Silva said.

A cabinet paper is to be submitted shortly seeking an investigation on ministry secretaries who have failed to implement cabinet decisions or delayed executing the decisions.

Whatever planned by whoever, it was necessary to hold Presidential polls between September 02nd and December 08th this year according to the Constitution, Provincial Councils and Local Government Minister Vajira Abeywardana said.
