බස්නාහිර පළාත් හිටපු ආණ්ඩුකාර අසාද් සාලි මහතාට ඇප ලබාදීම කොළඹ ප්‍රධාන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් අධිකරණය අද ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කළේය. ඒ අනුව සාලි මහතා යළිත් රක්ෂිත බන්ධනාගාර ගත කර තිබෙනවා.

The Government should at least now pay heed to the recommendations and guidance of medical experts and specialists in the effort to combat the Covid pandemic, as the only way forward in economic and social aspects was to get rid of the pandemic as soon as possible, former JVP MP Sunil Hadunetti said yesterday.

රට දැවැන්ත අර්බුදයකට ගොස් සිටින අවස්ථාවකදී ජනතාවද කැපකිරීම් කළයුතු බවත්, පරිත්‍යාග කළයුතු බවත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ මහ ලේකම්, පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී සාගර කාරියවසම් මහතා පවසනවා. ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙන්නේ කිසිවෙකුත් මෙවැනි මොහොතක වරදාන වරප්‍රසාද ඉල්ලීමට කටයුතු නොකළ යුතු බවයි.

වසංගතයක් රටපුරා පැතිර ගොස් ජනතාව බරපතල අපහසුතාවයකට පත්ව සිටින අවස්ථාවක මැතිවරණයක් ඉල්ලා සිටින විපක්ෂ නායකයාගේ මොළය පරීක්ෂා කළයුතු බව ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ නායක අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා පවසනවා. ඊයේ පැවති මාධ්‍ය හමුවකදී මාධ්‍යවේදියෙකු යොමුකළ ප්‍රශ්නයකට පිළිතුරු දෙමින් ජවිපෙ නායකයා මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.

මීළග මහ බැංකු අධිපතිවරයා ලෙස පත්වීම සදහා රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය අජිත් නිවාඩ් කබ්රාල් සිය රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ධුරයෙන් සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී ධූරයෙන් අද ඉල්ලා අස්වීමට නියමිතව තිබෙනවා.

රට නැවත 70-77 සමයට ගමන් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඇතැම් පුද්ගලයන් ආඩම්බර වන නමුත් එය කිසිසේත්ම ආඩම්බර විය හැකි තත්වයක් නොවන බව පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ගාල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික් පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී චන්දිම වීරක්කොඩි මහතා පවසනවා. එදා රට පැවතියේ ණය නොමැති තත්වයක් තුළ බව පෙන්වා දෙන මන්ත්‍රීවරයා සඳහන් කරන්නේ ට්‍රිලියන ගණනින් ජාත්‍යන්තරයට ණය වී ඇති රටකට 70-77 ප්‍රතිපත්ති කිසිසේත්ම නොගැලපෙන බවයි.

කොරෝනා ව්‍යසනය හේතුවෙන් වෙනත් කිසිම රටක් කඩා නොවැටුණු තරම් බංකොලොත් තත්ත්වයකට අපේ රට පත්වෙමින් පවතින බව විපක්ෂ නායක සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස පවසනවා.
