President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has created a new Bureau for National Policies and Plan Implementation, which will be directly under him, top political sources told the Sunday Observer yesterday.

පසුගිය රජය සමයේ අමාත්‍යාංශ ලේකම්වරුන්ට මාසිකව ලබා දුන් රුපියල් පනස් දහසක දීමනාව විශ්‍රාම වැටුපටත් එක් කොට ඇති බවට අමාත්‍යාංශ ආරංචි මාර්ග සඳහන් කරයි.

සම්බා සහ නාඩු සහල් කිලෝ ග‍්‍රෑම් 01 ක් සඳහා රුපියල් 98 ක උපරිම සිල්ලර මිලක් නියම කරමින් අතිවිශේෂ ගැසට් නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබේ.

ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ජනාධිපතිධුරයට පත්ව ගතවූ මසක කාලයක් තුලදී එළැඹි තීන්දු තීරණ සම්බන්ධයෙන් ජනාධිපති මාධ්‍ය අංශය නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කර තිබෙනවා. " සෞභාග්‍යයේ දැක්ම" නමින් හඳුන්වනු ලබන එම තීන්දු තීරණ හේතුවෙන් ජනතාවගේ දැඩි ප්‍රසාධයක් හිමිවී තිබෙන බවයි ජනාධිපති මාධ්‍ය අංශය වැඩිදුරටත් සඳහන් කරන්නේ.

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa told Daily News yesterday that homeless people will be provided with houses under ‘A house to each village’ programme which will commence next year.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) will increase water tariffs in 2020 for upper and middle-income earners as the NWSDB is in the red, Water Supply Facilities Minister Vasudeva Nanayakkara said yesterday.
