The US Embassy in Sri Lanka today reminded US citizens to exercise caution when travelling to Sri Lanka during the holiday season.

India has announced a USD 100 million credit line to develop solar projects in Sri Lanka. Both India and Sri Lanka have also been jointly funding research programmes in Science & Technology for close to a decade and are partners in South Asia satellite which aids socio-economic development and welfare needs of the region through tele-education, tele-medicine, disaster management support etc.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මානව හිමිකම් ආරක්ෂා කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් සහ සිවිල් සමාජය වෙනුවෙන් නව ව්‍යාපෘති 07 ක් ක්‍රියාත්මක කිරීමට යුරෝපා සංගමය තීරණය කර තිබෙනවා. ඒ සඳහා යුරෝපා සංගමය රුපියල් කෝටි 82 කට ආසන්න මුදලක් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට ලබාදීමට නියමිත බවයි වාර්තා වන්නේ.
