Telecommunication Minister Harin Fernando claimed today that he was unable to handover his asset declaration documents to the Presidential Secretariat on time due to confusion over the place of submission.

මීළඟ ජනාධිපතිවරණය සඳහා පෙර සූදානමක් ලෙස දිස්ත්‍රික් 25 ටම අලුතින් දිස්ත්‍රික් නායකයන් පත් කිරීම සඳහා එජාප නායක අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා සූදානම් වන බව වාර්තා වේ. ඒ සඳහා රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතාගේ සමීපතමයන් සහ ඔහුට විශ්වාස පුද්ගලයන් පත් කිරීමට තීරණය කර ඇති බවයි සිරිකොත ආරංචි මාර්ග පවසන්නේ.

ඉදිරි ජනාධිපතිවරණය සම්බන්ධයෙන් ශී‍්‍ර ලංකා නිදහස් පක්‍ෂය, ශී‍්‍ර ලංකා පොදුජන පෙරමුණ මෙන්ම සෙසු පක්‍ෂ සමගද සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට බලාපොරොත්තුවන බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්තී‍්‍ර දුමින්ද දිසානායක පවසනවා.

මේ වනවිට එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂ සජිත් පාර්ශ්වයේ කැරලි නායකයකු බවට පත්වී සිටින එජාප සභාපති කබීර් හෂීම් මහතාව එම තනතුරින් ඉවත් කිරීමට පක්ෂයේ ජ්‍යේෂ්ඨයින්ගේ ඉල්ලීම අනුව අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ මහතා තීරණය කර ඇතැයි වාර්තා වේ.

UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa said that he would hold discussions with a group of SLPP-MPs.
