The long-delayed Provincial Council (PC) elections see further delays as the Government is yet to take a decision on the date for the same, The Morning learnt.

The results of blood tests and X-rays submitted by applicants when seeking driving licences will no longer be required from today, Transport State Minister Dilum Amunugama said.

පළාත් සභා අහෝසි කරන්නේ නම් පළාත් සභාවල ඇති බලය පළාත් පාලන ආයතනවලට ලබාදෙන බව පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ජාතික සංවිධායක බැසිල් රාජපක්ෂ අවධාරණය කර ඇත.

මත්තල ජාත්‍යන්තර ගුවන් තොටුපළේ ගුවන් යානා ගොඩබැස්සවීමේ හා ගුවන් යානා නතර කිරීමේ ගාස්තු අය කිරීම වසරකට සම්පූර්ණයෙන් ම අත් හිටුවයි.

ගරු අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා විසින් 20 වෙනි ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථා සංශෝධනය අධ්‍යයනය කිරීම සඳහා පාර්ලිමේන්තු නියොජිතයින්ගෙන් සමන්විත කමිටුවක් පත් කරන ලදී.

නව මහාධිකරණ විනිසුරුවරුන් දොළොස් දෙනකුට පත්වීම් ලිපි ප්‍රදානය ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා අතින් අද (14) පෙරවරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලයේ දී සිදු විය.

The Finance Ministry has revoked its suspension of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities of State-owned enterprises (SOEs), which has been in place since last November.

The Government is planning to produce 50% of the country’s requirement of pharmaceuticals locally within the next three years, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said in a statement.
