ඉකුත් ජනාධිපතිවරණයේදී මෙන්ම මහමැතිවරණයේදීද පොදුජන පෙරමුණේ ජයග්‍රහණය වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටි ගායන ශිල්පී ඉරාජ් වීරරත්න මහතා ජාතික තරුණ සේවා සභාවේ සභා අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩලයේ සාමාජිකයෙකු ලෙස පත් කොට ඇත.

Dinesh Gunawardena has been appointed as the Leader of the House while Johnston Fernando has been named the Chief Government Whip, DG of the Department of Government Information - Nalaka Kaluwewa said.

The list of graduates eligible for employment under the programme to award employment opportunities to 50,000 graduates has been published on the official website of the Ministry of Public Services, Provincial Councils and Local Government.

The disrupted power supply was restored up to fifty per cent after six hours, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Chairman Vijitha Herath said.
