ජාතික එන්නත්කරණ වැඩසටහන යටතේ කොවිඩ් 19 වැළැක්වීම සඳහා එන්නත්කරණය ජාතික සැලැස්ම සකස් කර අවසන් බව කොවිඩ් 19 එන්නත් ලබා ගැනීමේ කාර්ය සාධක බළකායේ ප්‍රධානී ජනාධිපති ප්‍රධාන උපදේශක ලලිත් වීරතුංග පවසයි.

මෙම වසරේ පළමු කාර්තුවට පෙර ශී‍්‍ර ලංකා රේගු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව ධනාත්මක පරිවර්තනයකට ලක් කිරීමට කැප වන ලෙස ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා විසින් සියළු රේගු සේවකයින් වෙත උපදෙස් ලබාදී තිබෙනවා. එසේ නොවුණහොත් වෙනත් විකල්ප ප‍්‍රතිසංවිධාන කි‍්‍රයාමාර්ග ගැනීමට අකමැත්තෙන් වුව ද ජනාධිපතිවරයාට සිදුවනු ඇති බවයි ජනාධිපති ලේකම් පී බී ජයසුන්දර විසින් රේගු දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ සියළු සේවකයින් වෙත ලිපියක් යොමු කරමින් දැනුම් දී ඇත්තේ.

ඊයේ(6) දින පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී අඳහස් දක්වමින් අධිකරණ අමාත්‍ය අලී සබ්රි ප්‍රකාශ කර සිටියේ මුස්ලිම් විවාහ නීතිය සංශෝධනය කිරීමට තීරණය කර තිබෙන බවයි.
