මහනුවර දළදා පෙරහැර ලෝක උරුමයක් ලෙස නම් කිරීමට යෝජනා ඉදිරිපත් ව ඇතැයි ශ්‍රී ලංකා යුනෙස්කෝ කාර්යාලය පවසයි.

2020 අධ්‍යයන පොදු සහතික පත්‍ර උසස් පෙළ විභාගයේ ප්‍රතිඵල සිංහල හා දෙමළ අලූත් අවුරුද්දට පෙර නිකුත් කිරීමට හැකිවනු ඇතැයි අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශයේ ලේකම් මහාචාර්ය කපිල පෙරේරා පවසනවා. ඔහු කියා සිටියේ මෙවර උසස් පෙළ සහ 5 ශ්‍රේණීය ශිෂ්‍යත්ව විභාගය කල්දැමීමට මෙතෙක් කිසිදු තිරණයක් ගෙන නොමැති බවයි.
