Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that following the investigations he has issued guidelines to the Navy to be strictly followed.
He said that it was found some Navy officers attached to the Welisara Navy camp had been sent to various quarantine centers.
Jasinghe said that some of those Navy officers had then spread the coronavirus to others at those quarantine centers.
He said that the guidelines he has now issued will apply to Navy officers from this camp who are at various locations, including at military barracks.
Dr. Anil Jasinghe said that implementation of the guidelines is being monitored by health officials.
