Two passenger flights were diverted to the Mattala airport owing to poor weather at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) this morning.
Officials said that two SriLankan Airlines flights arriving from from Riyadh and Kuwait were diverted to Mattala.
Both flights however returned to BIA later.
