Presidential Commission summons MP Duminda today

The Presidential Commission investigating the corruption within the current government has summoned MP Duminda Dissanayake today pertaining to the investigation on the Agriculture Department building.

The Commission had notified Duminda Dissanayake to appear before the Commission at 9.30 am today.

Meanwhile, the Commission had issued summons to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday notifying him to appear before the Commission at 9.30 am on September 12.

The order was sent to the Prime Minister’s Office via fax and Temple Trees and it is also expected to be handed over to him in person today.

The Prime Minister has been summoned before the Presidential Commission for a statement regarding the building in Rajagiriya leased by the Agriculture Ministry.
