Army Commander Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva has reportedly made several changes within the military.
Major Gen. Athula Kodippili has been appointed to the Adjutant General position from the 53 division, Maj. Gen. Dushan Rajaguru has been transferred from the Mulaithivu SF Headquarters to the Military Headquarters, Maj. Gen. Jayantha Seneviratne has been transferred from Adjutant General to the post of SF Commander Mulaithivu, Maj. Gen. P.J. Gamage as the 53 Division Commander, Brigadier Tilak Hangilipola as the Commandant of the Military Infantry Training School.
Further, the former Intelligence Director Brigadier Chula Kodituwakku has been appointed as the Deputy Commander of the 53 Division.
Brigadier Senarath Niwunhella has been appointed as the Director Personnel and Brigadier Jayanath Jayaweera has been transferred to the office of the Chief of Staff, it is reported.
