Dr. Shafi Shihabdeen of Kurunegala Hospital, filed a Fundamental Rights (FR) petition in the Supreme Court today alleging that the allegations of illegal sterilization were false.
The petition filed on behalf of Dr. Shihabdeen said the sterilization allegations were a result of personal jealousy which followed from a purchasing of land in Kurunegala.
