The final report by the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) on the Easter Sunday attacks was tabled in Parliament today.
The report was tabled by PSC member Jayampathy Wickramaratne.
Opposition Parliamentarian Dinesh Gunawardena raised concerns over the PSC and its report as one of the members had been accused of having had links with one of the bombers.
Gunawardena said that PSC member, Rauff Hakeem had been accused of meeting Zaharan Hashim, the mastermind of the Easter Sunday attacks.
Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella however said that there were no objections raised when the PSC was appointed so the report cannot be rejected.
During its term the PSC recorded witness statements from several people, including President Maithripala Sirisena.
