The Railway service is to be made a ‘closed service’ as distinct from the rest of the public service, according to a Cabinet decision taken yesterday.

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) said doctors affiliated with their union will launch another strike campaign anytime after next Wednesday (02) if their salary anomalies remain unresolved.
