The three-member committee comprising senior Police officers has been appointed to receive complaints against former Governors of Western Province Governor Azath Salley, Eastern Province Governor M. L. A. M. Hizbullah, and former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera said.
SP Gunasekera said a Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and two Superintendent of Police (SPs) are comprised the committee.
The Spokesman said only written complaints would be entertained by the committee which was established at the Police Headquarters.
He said the complaints could be handed over from today (June 4) until June 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
