ප‍්‍රතිත‍්‍රස්ත පනත යොදාගනිමින් විපක්ෂ නායක මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ දේශපාලන වාසි ලබාගැනීමේ උත්සාහයක නිරත වන බව රාජ්‍ය ව්‍යවසාය කන්ද උඩරට උරුමය සහ මහනුවර සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ සභා නායක ලක්ෂ්මන් කිරිඇල්ල පැවැසීය.

ජාතික ආරක්‍ෂාවට මුල්තැන දීමේ මූලික සිද්ධාන්තය අමතක කර දැමීමේ ප‍්‍රතිඵල වර්තමානයේ භුක්ති විදීමට සිදුව ඇති බව විපක්‍ෂ නායක මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ මහතා පවසනවා.

රට පුරා සිදු කෙරෙන සෝදිසි මෙහෙයුම් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ප‍්‍රවෘත්ති වාර්තා කිරීමට ජනමාධ්‍යයන්ට සීමා පැනවීම කිසිසේත් අනුමත නොකරන බව ආණ්ඩුවේම පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්තී‍්‍රවරයෙකු වන කාවින්ද ජයවර්ධන පවසනවා. මෙම සීමා වහාම ඉවත් කරන ලෙසයි ඔහු ජනාධිපතිවරයාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේ.
