කැබිනට් මණ්ඩලය හදිසියේ අද (21 වැනිදා) රැස්වීමට තීරණය කර ඇත.

20 වන සංශෝධනය ලබන අඟහරුවාදා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමෙන් පසු, ඕනෑම පුරවැසියෙකුට දින හතක් ඇතුළත ඊට එරෙහිව පෙත්සමක් ගොනු කිරීමට අවස්ථාව පවතින බව පාර්ලිමේන්තු මහ ලේකම් කාර්යාලය පවසනවා.

පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ කාරක සභා සභාපතිවරු 12 දෙනා සදහා ලබන සදුදා වැඩමුලූ‍වක් පැවැත්වෙනවා.

“කුඩා සහ මධ්‍ය පරිමාණ ව්‍යවසාය ක්ෂේත්‍රය අද අප රටේ ආර්ථිකයේ කොඳුනාරටිය වී ඇති බව” අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා 20 දින පැවසීය.

Warnings of landslides, heavy rains and strong winds were issued yesterday by the Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre of the Meteorology Department and the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO), alerting people to the active south-west monsoon conditions currently affecting the country.
