The Director-General of Civil Aviation has informed all airlines that passengers with a travel history (including transit) in the past 14 days to countries in South America and South Africa will not be permitted to disembark in Sri Lanka with immediate effect.
The CAASL has already imposed bans for incomings for passengers with a travel history (including transit) to India and Vietnam in the past 14 days and this will continue to be in force.
