Another 600,000 vials of Russian-made Sputnik-V vaccine to reach the country within the next couple of weeks, Primary Health Care, Epidemics and COVID-19 Disease Control State Minister Sudarshini Fernandopulle said.
Addressing a news briefing at the Information Department today she said earlier 15,000 doses of vaccine were brought to the country on May 4 for a trial rollout.
We have already sent the report to the Russian officials with regards to the vaccinations, and thus they have confirmed to send the next consignment, the Minister said.
