At least 950 people, who had maintained direct and indirect contacts with the female garment factory worker who tested positive for Covid-19 from the Divulapitiya area yesterday, have been so far identified, Public Health Inspectors Union of Sri Lanka (PHIUSL) said.
Its Secretary M. Balasooriya told Daily Mirror that all of them had not been yet placed under quarantine at the moment but added they were in the process of placing them under quarantine.
“We are yet to identify more associates and accordingly, we would take prompt measures to place them under quarantine. They will also be subjected to PCR tests subsequently," Balasooriya said.
