Former Army commander and candidate of the next month's presidential election - Mahesh Senanayake has been hospitalised a short while ago due to a sudden ailment, reports say.
He has been rushed to the Balangoda Base hospital after suddenly falling ill during election campaigning, sources say.
Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror', hospital sources said that Mr Senanayake has been admitted to the Emergancy Ward and is being treated there.
