Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will undertake a two-day visit to Jaffna on July 31 and August 1, his first visit since the Podujana government was sworn into power last year, Coordinating Secretary and Government's Special Resettlement Facilitator to the North and East, Geethanath Kassilingham said.
In a tweet, Kassilingham said Prime Minister Rajapaksa, during his visit will inaugurate a desalination plant in Thalaiyadi, Jaffna and also hand over houses and deeds to the newly resettled families in the north.
