The opposition leader Sajith Premadasa and his wife Janani Premadasa are to be discharged today after completing treatment for COVID-19.
Both were receiving treatment at the same room in a private hospital in Colombo.
A PCR test conducted on May 28 confirmed that Sajith Premadasa was positive and the previous day, his wife tested positive.
Sources say Premadasa will begin his political activities after taking a rest for a few days.
