කුකුළු මස් මිල ඉහළ යාම පාලනය කිරීම මෙන්ම දැනට පවතින බිත්තර හිඟය අවම කරලීම සඳහා දේශීය කුකුළු කර්මාන්තකරුවන්ගේ එකඟතාවයන් සහිත යෝජනාවලියක් ලබන සතියේ අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලය වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කරන බව කෘෂිකර්ම අමාත්‍ය මහින්ද අමරවීර මහතා පවසයි.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා රජය සහ R.M. Parks Inc. අතර, ෂෙල් සමාගම සමඟ එක්ව ඛනිජතෙල් නිෂ්පාදන ආනයනය, ගබඩාකිරීම, බෙදාහැරීම සහ විකිණීම සඳහා දිගුකාලීන ගිවිසුමකට ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ දී අත්සන් තැබූ බව ජනාධිපති මාධ්‍ය අංශය සඳහන් කරයි.
චීන ජාතික සංචාරකයන් වැඩි ප්‍රමාණයක් මෙරටට ගෙන්වා ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය සහය ලබා දෙන බව චීන සංචාරක සමූහ ව්‍යාපාරයේ (C.T.S.) සභාපති Chen Yim මහතා පවසයි.
ඇමරිකානු ඩොලරයට සාපේක්ෂව රුපියලේ අගය ඉහළ යාමේ ප්‍රතිලාභ ජංගම දුරකථන සහ උපාංග අලෙවිය හරහා ලබා දීමට නොහැකි බව සමස්ත ලංකා සන්නිවේදන හිමියන්ගේ සංගමය (ACCOA) පවසයි.
